It is an opportunity to recall the warning signs of a stroke, which, if found, can immediately contact the emergency, which increases the chances of survival: "Every minute saved, it 10% greater chance! ".

Heart attack: review

50,000 French died prematurely of a cardiac arrest, or 130 deaths per day! It is "ten times more deaths than road accidents" indicates the French Society of Cardiology.

Yet if we act quickly to restart the heart, the chances of surviving a cardiac arrest increases. Thus, 4 of 5 victims who survived a cardiac arrest have benefited from the lifesaving, which have been made by the first witness to the accident. But if 7 out of 10 cardiac arrests occur in the presence of witnesses, less than 20% of them practice lifesaving techniques.

Cardiac arrest: what are the lifesaving?

5 minutes of cardiac arrest are sufficient to cause irreversible damage. It must react very quickly realizing the three lifesaving:

1) Call the ambulance by dialing 15 or 112 in Europe.

2) Massaging the heart.

3) a defibrillator if external defibrillator is available nearby.

We all know these three lifesaving and dare to achieve if the situation arises. We all have the power to save lives.
