Our feet bear the brunt of our body. In many sports activities as one way, they serve as shock absorbers and suffer injuries each stride. Given the critical role they play as well take the greatest care possible. The key rules that all athletes, amateur or professional, should adopt to maintain their feet.

Footcare


- Avoid bathing feet that soften the skin and brittle. And ideally, before an important race, wash your feet instead of the previous evening.

- Always wipe your feet carefully, focusing between the toes.

- Treat immediately any lesion suggestive of fungal infection (redness, itching, squamous ...).

- Cut your nails regularly walk, but not too short to prevent injuries in sports shoes.

- Regularly also straighten the whole thickness and pumice calluses.

- Before a race, a cover with adhesive tape or a bandage, any area of friction.

- If you have a blister, cover it with a specific dressing (hydrocolloid) or Vaseline gauze secured with medical tape.

- Wear socks, preferably made of cotton and does not form folds.
