Diverted drugs for weight loss

The diuretics used in hypertension, heart failure, some edema are losing water, not fat, they do not lose weight but the body off balance, disrupting the heartbeat and the disruption of kidney function.

Thyroid hormones are activators of metabolism. These are prescribed in very precise quantities and under close supervision at a lack of thyroid gland function that is often bigger. Thoughtlessly absorbed to lose weight, they raise major heart problems.

As for the thyroid extracts (but banned in France for sale on the Internet), they have the same slimming effects which may simply lead to cardiac arrest!

Weight loss drugs withdrawn from the market

Each time a drug for the obese lose weight is put on the market, it is removed after a few years to cause catastrophic side effects. But, alas, they are found on the Internet. This was the case of Isomeride (dexfenfluramine) because of pulmonary hypertension, the Ponderal (fenfluramine) and Sibutral (Sibutramine) for origin of cardiovascular disorders, and most recently of Acomplia (rimonabant), which generates depressions.

To these may be added orlistat, the basic molecule of Alli and Xenical are still on the market and prevent the thinning of the intestinal absorption of fat, but whose side effects (diarrhea, fecal leakage, decreased absorption of vitamins A, D, E and K) are not trivial.
