The Official Journal published Thursday, May 22, 2010 Decree on the use of the title of psychotherapist. Read the decree:

The text outlines the skills required and the type of training required to be eligible under the psychotherapist, can enroll in the National Register of profession and practice as a psychotherapist. Psychotherapists already installed, and do not have the skills, may request a waiver, providing a record that will pass before a committee of experts.

The psychiatrists will be automatically considered as psychotherapists.

The non-psychiatric physicians should have completed 200 hours of training and two months internship in order to obtain the title of psychotherapist.

Psychologists will have completed two months of practical training and 150 hours of classroom training for clinicians, and 300 hours for non-clinicians.

Psychoanalysts are imposed 200 hours of training and two months of training if they wish to be considered as psychotherapists.
