If you prefer to keep the fruit out of your drinks then give this alternative low calorie margarita a try. It is slightly higher in calories due to the addition of cointreau but still comes in at a reasonable 179 calories per serving.

Instructions:
1) Place the countrea, ice cubes, lime juice, sugar and tequila into a blender and blend the ingredients until the ice cubes become chipped and the mixture becomes frothy.
2) Take a cocktail glass and rub its rim with the lime wedge.
3) Dip the rim of the glass in the salt.
4) Pour the frosty blended margarita mix into the glass.
