Bradburn Village has several private parks, is close to many public parks with recreational facilities, and may other family-oriented activities. There are 7 pocket parks within Bradburn, one contains a large wooden fort with a slide and swings.  There is a large park at the center of the neighborhood with a raised concrete pavilion that works well for events.  There is even an apple orchard, and a formal flower garden full of benches.  There is a large public park with “mac daddy” playground equipment a 10-15 minute walk from Bradburn.  The public park also has soccer fields.  The playground at the charter school is 5-10 minutes walking distance also and can be used when school is not in session.

Bradburn residents have a community center and a very nice pool with a kiddie pool which is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year.

Bradburn is adjacent to the Dry Creek Open Space which has many biking/running trails which provide easy walking or biking access from Bradburn to the Westminster Library and Front Range Community College.  The Westminster Promenade, a shopping and entertainment district that contains a 24 screen movie theater, a spectacular indoor ice rink, a comedy club, and many restaurants is also accessible from Bradburn by the trails through the open space, it’s a 10-15 minute bike ride or 20-30 minute walk.  The  Butterfly Pavillion, one of the largest in the United States, is across from the Westminster Promenade.

Neighbors in Bradburn are in the parks very frequently, kids play, dogs romp, and everyone socializes.
