Basic Computer Skills Course

Build confidence using a computer in this beginner-friendly four-week course! Designed for adults who are new to computers or want to strengthen their basic digital skills, this hands-on class will introduce the fundamentals of using a Windows computer in a supportive learning environment.

Each week will focus on a different topic:

Week 1: Computer Basics Week 2: Introduction to the Internet Week 3: Getting Started with Email Week 4: Staying Safe Online

Participants will have opportunities to practice new skills and ask questions throughout the course.

Registration for full course is required. Library laptops will be provided, or you may bring your own laptop. Please note that instruction will be based on Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers. If bringing your own device, ensure that it is fully charged before class.
