Dogs, Cats and Backyard Acrobats – Birds, Bees, and Butterflies: An Art Exhibit

Enjoy the delightful paintings of beloved family pets and natural critters by Carrie Skelly on display in Saratoga Library's Group Study Room. Carrie's exhibit will be on display during Saratoga Library's open hours from August 1 to October 30, 2026.

Artist's Statement For eleven years Saratoga was home to me and my family while my husband Kevin served as principal of Saratoga High School. I soaked in the beauty of this place and was able to start studying design, drawing and painting at West Valley College. I came to especially love painting people’s pets and capturing some of the natural beauty found in our own backyards.
