A Japantown gathering place.
Roy's Station Coffee sits in the heart of San Jose's historic Japantown, in a building with a story all its own. It was once the service station owned and operated by Roy Murotsune — a fixture of the neighborhood for generations.
Today that legacy lives on in a new form. The lovingly preserved station now pours specialty coffee, filling the space where cars once pulled in with the aroma of freshly brewed espresso and the hum of easy conversation.
More than a cafe, Roy's Station is a true community gathering place. Its walls showcase local art, its tables welcome neighbors, students, and artists, and its warm family atmosphere makes everyone feel right at home.
